IBC Renewal & Citizenship Application Process Workshop
Venue: New Oak Community Centre, Carlow
Date: Friday 14th May 2010
***********
Registration: 10:30am
IBC Renewal & Citizenship Application Processes Training Workshop: 11:00am – 1:00pm
Light lunch: 1:00 – 2:00pm
Southeast Regional Meeting for Member Groups: 2:00 – 3:30pm

Registration will begin at 10:30am, and I’ll send out directions and a map to the venue later (which is half way between the train and bus stations in Carlow).

The training event is also open to information service providers, like CICs based in the Southeast, and will take place from 11am to 1pm, focusing on the following:

  1. 2010 IBC Renewal Process
  2. Citizenship Application Process

The latter area of the training will complement a recent round of trainings on citizenship that the ICI have delivered, in that it won’t go over all the same areas again, but will focus primarily on the actual application form and application process.

After lunch, I’m suggesting that we hold a brief Southeast Regional Meeting from 2:00 – 3:30pm with the following in mind:

§         Update in relation to the II-RIS merger process to form “The Integration Centre”

§         Update in relation to the main programme areas in our new strategic plan

§         General discussion/ Q & A re merger, new organisation and new strategic plan

§         Updates from member groups around upcoming events.

I know we usually have meeting on Saturday’s, but hope most of you can come to both the training and this meeting on Friday 14th May.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
